I see a FROG!
We had been in our new home in Orinda, CA for about a month now when I had Kai arrange his Thomas trains on the window sill to eliminate some clutter. He barely had enough room for all of his train collection when he announced there was a frog looking at him!

I thought he was just making conversation- as we have a brook right next to our house and during the evenings the croaking of frogs was loud enough to lull you to sleep.
And Kai was right, there in the left corner window was a frog peering up at us!
I would like to think this was a different frog that somehow got into the house. I finally caught it in a ziplock bag, after episodes of shrieking when it would jump about trying to escape hopping about the house. It stayed in the container overnight...
... and was my morning surprise for Kai.
This little critter can jump a foot distance easily! And Kai let it loose out the house, saying "so it can go home to it's mommy"
(I would hate to see how big his mommy is! ugh!)
