Melting Crayons for a Project

Ever wondered what to do with the broken pieces of crayon? Kai and I did a little project where we broke the crayons into smaller pieces and placed it in a muffin pan.

At about 250 degrees, we watched the crayons melt and mixed it with a toothpick to get rid of any air bubbles.

Then we popped the muffin crayons out and TA-DAH! Kai now had a bigger crayon to color with!
