Adira gets a water hit!



ok so the boys freak out when a cicada is placed on their caps! I just wanted to see what their reaction was...and not a very favorable one too. I didn't think they would know what this insect was all about! But having just heard Adira scream- I think this would be considered a learned reaction?

The cicadas here are deafening! On our evening walk, I could barely hear myself- they make this really loud cricket-like noise, and it also sounds like a live electric wire.
