I forgot to mention 2 ladies who put a tremendous amount of effort into fundraising to battle cancer- my niece Adira and my brother's girlfriend Jen. I am extremely proud of them and wanted to share this with you.


Adira did a fundraiser for the 5 mile Walk of Hope to battle cancer. Although she completed her 5-miles, most of her schoolmates did 3 miles. Adira went to the extent of carrying her classmates piggy-back when they complained they could not walk anymore. Leave it to Adira! GI Girl Adira!


In October, Jen did her second Susan B. Koman 60-mile, 3-day walk in Tampa Bay, Florida AND raised $2,200 in the fight against breast cancer. She also made a special donation of 8" of hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign. This is an organization that is working with the American Cancer Society to help provide wigs to woman that are unable to afford them when they are going through cancer treatments.
