Kai send a Valentine to his girlfriend Sierra!

After Kai had been handing out valentines to everyone, old and new, at work today, we went to Lukas' to spend some outdoor time with them.


Kai gave Lukas a digger truck as his Valentines gift which they had great fun shoveling sand at the park with. He also gave Auntie Ute a Valentine PEZ to add to her collection.

As a gift, Kai got a big balloon that said "I Love You" on it, and mommy Arleen got a tin filled with M&Ms (which she devoured all that same day) and a perfect little card which Lukas had artistically scribbled this drawing of a rose. And Greg daddy gave me a box of Scharfenberger chocolate truffles, which I absolutely love.


And I ran across this advertisement in the Diablo Magazine that influenced me to drive 20-minutes to Emeryville to the Charles Chocolate store and purchased this box of chocolates for Greg. These chocolates are infused with Asian tea flavors such as Oolong and Lychee. With the exception of the wrappers, the whole thing is made of chocolate, even the box! On the lid is a chocolate drawing representing the mountains of China. Expensive but well worth every bite!
