Alameda Beach Outting and Hopes first face plant!
March 4, 2008
The next morning Kai is already out the door looking for Cohen, and the two run off somewhere in the house to play. Hope is up and ready to eat and does a good job of handling an orange without dropping it!
While Hope is rocked to sleep in the sunny backyard, Cohen is on the swing on the side yard with his mama.
We later make a run for Oakland, to retrieve Cheri's luggage (and her $50 voucher for picking it up) and then off to Alameda Beach on the way back.
To Cheri's surprise, Cohen has taken up thumb sucking to the likes of Kai.
Hope is in a backpack child carrier. Her first experience with the Bay.
Low tide today, which doesn't prevent a kitesurfer from his sport. (San Francisco in the background)
The boys make use of their tools,
By the way check out Hope's new left pinky finger! She had surgery on Jan 22 this year and is a fast healer! Her other pinky surgery (right) in Nov 6 last year was also a success. Look at how she is able to hold her bottle without any difficulty! YEAH Hope!
As we get ready to leave, the boys decide to tackle the wind tent. Cheri had just gotten Hope out of the boys way, then only to turn her back and have Hope do a face-plant in the sand while she is still strapped in the backpack. ~
That's another first for Hope! (Her very first face exfoliation experience that is, YEAH!)
