SNOOPY's Here and SNOOPY's There (all 94 of them!)

The rain today didn't stop us from driving to Santa Rosa to see the 5-ft. tall Snoopy's on display near the Charles M. Schulz museum.

Each Snoopy had it's own theme, developed by the imagination of the artist. Each Snoopy had a sponser which was purchased by them. 17 Snoopy's were up for auction at Snoopy's Home Ice skating rink, and one was being raffled off. (the Snoopy holding a bouquet of flowers above)

Having seen 94 Snoopy's, I needed to see a psychiatrist. But Dr Kai appeared to be too paranoid to listen to my problems...(hiding from the IRS?)

Greg's favorite dog.

This dog held a checklist to be green conscious. We do about all on that list except for one (#10 - Kai is not old enough to understand yet).

Taken just before Kai snapped the brittle hair on Pig Pen.

They are just sooooo cute!
What a cheat! He's using a mirror to win at cards!

The 00K9 Snoopy. One of my favorites.

Check out the handcuffs on Woodstock!

The Susan B Koman Snoopy.

Another one of Greg's favorites! (of course.)

Snoopy's, Snoopy's everywhere!

I adore this photo...Kai and Greg on a canoe ride.

We went to the skating rink just out of curiosity. This is where the auction was being held.

And we saw some entertainment with an ice skating demonstration by Snoopy in costume, followed by a saxaphone solo, and speech. We left before the auction began as I wanted to see the Charles M. Schulz Museum before it's closing time, and Kai and Greg needed fresh air.

Kai tries to take Snoopy's cookie!

Take a closer look...

...and what do you see?

Out in the garden was the Snoopy labyrinth. Can you make out the shape of his head?

The MONA LUCY.

A carpeted wall of Peanuts.

If you want an actual drawing by Charles Schulz, there's a handful on sale for at least $3000.00 at the souvenir shop there.
