Bautiquitos Lagoon

Our last day here and we wanted to spend it outdoors. Not too far from the resort was Bautiquitos Lagoon.

Greg hiked with Kai in a backpack, while we shuffled along in the heat.


Didn't see much of anything else other than a predator bird flying overhead and a fish leaping out from the water...and of course, other outdoor exercisers we passed on the trail.

We left later that afternoon after a terrific lunch by the pool and a last swim. Mum and dad will be staying behind for another 3 days...good, that gives me time to clean house from the Kai tornado.
