Kai Knocks Down Sand Castles at Carlsbad Beach

After our swim, we visited Carlsbad Beach, about 5-miles from the resort.


We watched people scrape mussels off the rock, and were amazed that they didn't get knocked off by the waves beating on the rocks while wearing sports socks.


Dad poses on the lifeguard post. He just doesn't seem to follow directions..."Keep Off"...heehee!


Kai leads gramma around with a leash, found on the beach.

The lifeguard warns the swimmers to move as the waves are too strong at the rocks nearby.


Kai ventures to this face made of sand, that appears to be asking for help...


...and STOMPS on it!


He then heads towards someone's sand castle and knocks that one over too! Gramma just pretends to look the other way while he commits this mischievousness.
