Get me out of this dress! I want my running shoes.

I rarely dress up and find this to be out of my comfort zone when it comes to wearing girlie-stuff. My mom was upset and said that as old as I was, I still did not know how to dress up, although I did pop up with an acceptable outfit (but screwed up on the shoes). So my sister Cheri had to loan me a pair.

Most of you know that I am either in casual dress, a physical therapy lab coat or scrubs, or in outdoorsy wear. But anything that requires ironing, dry-cleaning, a belt, or matching shoes and jewelry to an outfit is not my thing.

So this is what I wore to Hope's baptism and 'lo and behold who else ends up with similar color and pattern outfits? And no, we did not coordinate our wardrobes...

Me, Dawn (my youngest brother's girlfriend), and my sister Cheri.

So guess what? Mom went out and bought me more summery "girlie" outfits as my birthday gift. I appreciate this, don't get me wrong, as I hate to shop for clothes and shoes and would rather be outdoors rolling around in dirt. Seriously!
.
But this time mom fowled up on an outfit, that as soon as I saw that big brown pattern there I couldn't help but ask her "what does that look like?" and it took her by surprise- I even asked my brother Fredi what it looked like to him and he did not hesitate to say that it looked like a big vagina. We all couldn't help but laugh.
